Today’s post is over at my friend Gini Dietrich’s excellent blog on all things social media, ‘Spin Sucks‘.In it I argue that the Social Media world is out over its skis – that even though there is a lot of potential for the effective use of social media in the business world, in reality, for now, its use is overblown and the likely return on investment, for most businesses is small. I also make my point in a manner that is highly likely to irritate the bejabbers out of anyone who actually makes their living in social media. Which is of course at least half the point
