Predictable Success

{Get your organization on the growth track - and keep it there}

The first lego piece

What is the single, most fundamental building block for growing a truly great business? Is it a mind-blowingly innovative product idea? World-class employees? Passion? Vision? Clarity of thought, perhaps; or charismatic leadership? Is it ruthless focus, or relentless determination? Or maybe the converse: opportunistic flexibility?

All of these are great, of course, and no business owner or manager would shun any of them, but if you could only have one of them to start, grow and maintain your truly great business with, which would it be?

Or would it be something else entirely?

After 30 years of watching and helping people start, grow and maintain businesses (successfully and unsuccessfully), and having done it over 40 times myself (successfully and unsuccessfully) I know what it is for me. Absolutely, undeniably, it’s…

…well, hold on. I don’t think I want to share it with you just yet.

Instead, I’d like to hear what you think (and I will, of course share my own view) on the #Kaizenblog chat on Twitter this Friday, January 21, at 12:00 noon eastern, where I’ll be co-hosting the chat with the very lovely Elli St. George Godfrey on this very topic.

We’ll cover the entire issue of business growth (with Predictable Success as a lens, from my perspective) but with a specific focus on the fundamentals: what are the mandatory, must-have essentials for sustainable business growth, and what are merely ‘good-to-have’s’.

Come girded with your own views, comments and questions and join us on Friday.

If you’ve never participated in a Twitter chat before, here’s a great article on how to do it. It’s simple, free, and a great way to learn.

Come and join us – who knows, maybe you’ll decide Twitter chats are a great communications tool that you can use for your own purposes.
