That was certainly the case when Justin Nelson and Chance Mitchell presented me with an enormous birthday cake on Wednesday, after my opening keynote for the NGLCC 2013 annual conference. (That’s us at right. I’m about to faceplant the cake.) Having all 600 attendees then serenade me in a rendering of ‘Happy Birthday’ was also a first.
I’m very much looking forward to meeting everyone attending the Independent Payroll Providers Association’s Annual Conference in Miami next week. Mmmm…wonder if I can use the birthday ruse to get another cake?
